It's been a long time since I've come back here.

14 years old, doing the math. It just seems that time passes by so fast.

I hope that I remember this when I get older and cringe at my words like I did now if they are not the norm.

While I did want to come back and look through the page, the true reason I'm here is because the Red crescent blade from RWBY that Monty Oum created and designed. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll ever be able to own it so I wanted to take time to put my thoughts down about this fantastic man that I didn't know very well. This is not going to be complete at all but it's just some notes on him.

Monty Oum was a man that I didn't know very well. I mainly only talked and listened to Achievement Hunter, only occasionally looking at Rooster Teeth. But I was captured by his style of Art. It took even me a while to get used to it but when I did I realized how much effort and talent that took!!!!!

He was described by his caring nature, his go-get-'em attitude. After reading everyone's journals about him, I realized he was possibly the best, most carefree guy out there. One time I remember is when people where like 'Go to sleep Monty!!!!!!!!' when he pushed himself to hard. I absolutely love how dedicated to his work he was but even I agreed, 'you need a break dude!'

I remember when he released himself at his house dancing to a certain song, I don't remember what it was, but he was rockin' it!! Hahaha!!! I also saw his DDR dance & I can say that is one stylish, funny guy!!

All these memories are what is left of him in my mind. I feel like going on a binge watch of his episodes, while I was already obsessed with RWBY, though I never really got into Red vs Blue, I still feel like remembering who he was.

Monty, I didn't know you very well until after you passed but from all of the love, compassion, caring, and so, so, so many more adjectives used to describe you I knew you were the type of man that generally cared about others.

Monty, there are so many people who love you and the work you do. From you're beautiful wife, to you're other family members, which just might include you're Rooster Teeth coworkers to other friends that you had.

Monty, they love you.

Monty, we all love you.

Monty, please rest in peace and watch over everyone of us here stuck on Earth continuing our lives. Please stay by us & still crack jokes on you're family.
