Powers/Skills:
-Echo has the ability to manipulate sound waves.
-By doing so he can create high-frequency sonic booms (either through yelling, clapping his hands, etc.)
-He also has accelerated speed by riding sound waves
-After losing his sight he gained the ability to “see” through listening/feeling the movement of sound vibrations as they travel through/ off of objects (like a form of echolocation)


Weaknesses:
-He technically can’t see, and because of that, if the sound waves he uses to “see” become distorted by interfering waves, his “vision” can be distorted/ obstructed as well.
-Can also become overwhelmed if surrounded by a large variety of noises.

~Personality~
Echo is a bit of a happy-go-lucky goofball that enjoys making others laugh.

~History~

Chase (aka Echo) grew in the foster system after his parents died in a car crash when he was 2. His powers began emerging when he was 13, after he noticed that he had exceptional hearing, which, over the next few years, then further progressed to his abilities to manipulate sound. When he was 17, walking home one night, Chase was involved in a robbery-gone-wrong. As he attempted to fight off the assailant, a second one snuck up behind Chase, striking him in the back of the head with a metal pipe. The attack had permanently damaged his visual cortex, causing Chase to go blind. Due to his loss of vision, his powers expanded and allowed him to be able to “see” through echolocation. After recovering, he dedicated the next few years to mastering his powers so that he could fight crime and keep other people from being hurt by criminals like he was. He graduated highschool, and then started college. Finally feeling he had control over his abilities he became Echo. His super heroing.....started off less than perfect. He accidentally destroyed part of the city, which was featured on the news. That's how Flood found him, offering him a place on the team he was forming. Will he join the team? Stay tuned for more on Chase's life as Echo.
