I just want to begin by introducing myself. My name is Sandyshore99, and I am 43 year old father of five who joined Gaia in order to keep an good parental eye on what my two youngest kids were doing online, and to spend time with them online. After spending some time on Gaia, I discovered all the fun to be had here, even as an adult.
What I would like to accomplish with this journal is to at least introduce the Gaia world to the world of GNU/Linux. There is a whole world of completely FREE software out there to be experienced, and I hope to encourage some of you to at least TRY Linux. I think you will be surprised with everything that is available, both by the quality of the products and how easy they are to use!
