“How can you even begin to say this skillet tastes nasty? It was my moms!” He screamed out in the middle of the ancient and deserted library. His eyes fluttered open, only to be attacked by the single florescent light above him. He reached up and scratched his head. He noticed his hand way red and wet. Finally, he realized the puddle of blood he was lying in was oozing from his own head. The near by observer was quitly chuckling to himself while watching the dumbfounded around the giant book cases screaming, “Mom! Where the Hell did you put my skillet?”
The other person watching the man was a girl. She flicked her head in her brothers direction. “What’s wrong with him? Does he know were watching him? Can he hear us? Why aren’t we helping him? Can’t you see? He’s bleeding!”
Jason let out a heavy sigh, “ May, if you want me to answer any of those questions your going to have to ask me one at a time. I don’t have time for this.”
“Ugh, never mind. How’d we get here anyway?” She asked, now with a little bit of worry in her voice.
“I know just as well as you do, May.” He replied mechanically.
She ignored him and continued watching the hectic man run around the book shelves.
“Tooth paste! We need more tooth paste!” He screamed.
Out of no where, the man silences his screaming, stops dead in his tracks, and looks straight up at the ceiling. Then, out of the silence and the calm, we heard a huge crash. The floor rattled, the book cases fell, and the grey dust began to choke Jason and May. The haze cleared and they peered out over the silent room only to see a giant kitty of doom. The animal was at very least, fifteen feet in height.
It let out a small, cute meow and begin looking around the room. It’s giant eyes darted around the room its eyes met the two siblings wide eyes. It quickly ran over to them, its heavy paws shaking the ground as it ran, pounced on both May and her brother. The kitten of doom sat on them as if he didn’t even notice. They lay, limbs waving, under the cat for around ten minutes choking and soon fell silent.
The cat then hopped up, jumped through the roof, and was never seen again.
