An artist as I am I went to the park after school today. Of course my sketchbook was with me at the time. Then something amazing happened! I saw a guy with a guitar walk into the main picnic area (I like relaxing on a big rock in the middle of the main path). After having my Taco Bell snack I had awhile to do whatever so I went and observed the beach for awhile then went to listen to him play. He was really good at guitar (especially for self-taught) and his voice was really good too. I was shocked and amazed. Eventually we started talking and with his music I was able to draw the water scenery. Unfortunatly I had to leave before being able to ask for his e-mail of phone number. But the good news is I got his name. I hope I get to meet him again though. He had great potential, as a musician and a friend.

1. Never turn on your TV again 2. Never turn on your computer again (Sry Gaia, you know it's true) 3. Walk to work or school. Yes you have to wake up early, but it's that or end up suffocating underneath the gases of the transportation you decide to use 4. Sleep or deal with the dark. Don't you dare turn on that light! Unless you're using sharp objects of course... 5. recycle EVERYTHING 6. Stop using paper plates and plastic forks! Stop it I say! 7. Don't "order out" 8. Bring your own bags to the grocery store. "I don't need a bag" should be a popular phrase.
Now for a few, more extreme options 9. Use a bucket full of water for baths/showers. You'll save over 1/2 a tub full of water for the environment 10. This one is for the ladies. When taking a SHOWER (not a bath) turn off the freakin water while shaving!! You dont need a constant spray of liquid on your back. 11. Carry a washable or recyclable bag with you when walking and pick up any and all trash you find along the way
Options that are a bit disgusting or may piss off your parents
12. Only wash the dishes once a week 13. Instead of wearing one outfit for each day, wear an outfit a few days in a row 14. Wash your laundry once a week or after you run out to be safe 15. Take a shower once every week or so
Wardrobe Options 16. Keep your shoes to one of each type. Types do not include brands or anything like that. Types include sandals, snow boots, gym shoes, dress shoes, and slippers. (Slippers are optional) 17. Keep your coats to type as well (raincoat, snowcoat, sweater) 18. Don't be a clothes-hermit. The need for clothes can be averaged out to 7-8 shirts. Different varieties of course (long-sleeve, short sleeve, tanktops, and maybe ONE dress shirt for the fancier people). 7 bottoms (I like jeans. they're good in all weather really. But it's your choice). 19. The only bundles you need are socks, underwear, and (ladies only (I guess)) bras. 20. ONE swimsuit! If one doesnt fit, donate it. BUT NO MORE THAN ONE PER WARDROBE
School Options 21. Recycle ALL paper. That includes wrappers, old homework, old classwork, and those explicit drawings you rip up so the teacher wont see (I know some of you do that) 22. Put your water bottle, IN the recycling. Or better yet, save it and reuse it. 23. I know they're good, but no more vending machine drinks for you! 24. Insist on using your own non-paper plate at lunch 25. Dont throw your pencil in the trash, throw it in the recycling bin (it also pisses your teachers off sometimes) 26. Recycle notebooks. 27. (For the daring) Steal all the trashcans in the school and pile them out in the courtyard with a sign saying "Recycling is healthier. No trash for you"
That's my tips (alot huh?)
