At a young age tempest was discovered to have magical ability, mostly in healing. The local shaman taught her in the art of healing along side her warrior training.
While growing up it was always just tempest and her little brother. Her father and mother died when her brother was young. So Tempest took on the role for caring for her younger brother. When Tempest was 13 her little brother was while she was out on a hunting. Blaming herself she developed a personalty on strongly wanting to protect those she cares about and swore revenge on those who took her family from her. In her mission to hunt them down she left her home plant and ventured out into the Galaxy. Over the years of her travel she develop a love for travel and culture and seeing the world. During the time of her travels apart of tempest heart had grown cold. Until one day when she was at one of Embers concert where upon hearing Ember sing the cold ice around Tempest heart began to melt. Ember reminded her of her little brother. She saw something in Embers eyes when she sang it was the same shine that her brother had when he sang the songs tempest wrote for him long ago.
How tempest became Embers body guard she stopped an assassination plot to take Embers life when all Embers current body guards failed.
