Sitting in the sun,

Waiting,

Waiting for the one,

To make this waiting,

Waiting, some fun.

A cloud passes over head,

Reminding me of a time,

Time long ago,

When you were sitting by my side,

When you were holding me,

And I begin to cry.

Raindrops fall,

All around.

Thunder crashes,

With a howling sound.

Looking to the sky,

Lightning flashes by,

The shadows length,

They merge together,

Lights turn on,

People head home,
