Geez, for a game I got a few year ago for only $10 someone wants to buy the thing off me for $50! You know you reached a new level of game collecting when you know that you can find the same game online for the faction of that! Of course I spend a lot of time looking around trying to find all the classics. You can't just find a game on some site and think it's a good idea to pick the thing up though. Always look around cause sure, you might find an old game you wanted for years online only to find a better copy for a quarter of the price down at Value Village or something ...
Of course if people knew the prices I spent of most of my collection it would prob floor them. Well, only if you knew what people try and sell them on some of these crazy sites. Of course I never bother with sites like Ebay. Although you can find something cool for cheap sometimes you can end up paying a lot more cause someone else wants the same thing. Of course ordering anything on-line usually one needs a credit card. Also depending where you order from you might have to pay twice the amount you payed just to get the thing shipped! This is why I've learned to thift shop, cause you never know what you would find in a store like Value Village! Heck, got myself an old Sega Master System a few years back for $40! Complete with some games! I'm sure some of you don't even know what that system is, but those who know and love are prob going "WTF?! Lucky Jerk"
Well if anyone was reading this and wants to talk gaming and collecting, drop me a line! You would be surprise what I know ... and what I don't ... My collection stems from an old Atari 2600 all the way to Xbox360 or PS3 ... well ... the PS3 will be coming soon! But I have most of everything in between! Can't say I own all the best Final Fantasy games without having the new ff13! Woot! and yes I have an original Final Fantasy for Nintendo ... and no I'm not selling it, that's a classic I can't give up, and boy have people tried to get it from me ... and that FF online is a load, FF should never have been an online game, don't know why everything has to be online these days ...
So, to limit my ramblings and to keep me from sound too much like a gamer geek, I'll bring this to a close. Really people can find anything they want just about anywhere, you just have to know where to look. If someone wants a good site or two to look old classics up, just drop me a line. Of course if you know of a hot store, please tell me! Can always use more games!
