I’d give anything not to see
you turn away from me
in my time of despair.

I’d give anything for you
to love and accept me for who I am,
and yet you still turned away from me.

You left me here in this unforgiving world
with no voice to demand respect,
no guidance to show me what path to take,
no love to keep others from constantly betraying me.
I would shout to the heavens and beg to be free.

But,

"I have no mouth, and I can't scream."
