Remember me For the night falls Watch your back Because the dagger calls Listen closely Hear the woman’s wail Close your ears Or befall siren’s tale Remember me For daylight breaks Watch your back The dawn awakes Listen closely To the blue birds song Close your ears This world you’re never long Remember me For your hour is near Watch your back From the vampire’s leer Listen closely To all those screaming Close your ears It has no meaning Remember me One last time Sing my name Tis not a crime Watch your back I come alive one time merely Listen closely I love you dearly Close your ears Because I lie Remember me Just before you die Listen closely To life’s last goodbye Sing my name One last time
Snow drifted around him onto the ground, but he didn’t see. His mind was numb and his flesh tightened in the cold, although he couldn’t feel. The pale moon lit up the wintery night, and yet his world faded. Blood dripped down his neck and onto a pale torso, and he couldn’t bring himself to care. His mouth twitched in a smile, but he didn’t laugh at the words spoken. His fingers grasped his lover’s hand in his own, and he moved no more. His onyx eyes slowly died. His black curls fell over his face like a silky shroud as his life left him. Full lips fell apart, white and cold. An angel with ivory skin and dark hair sobbed over his body, but received no comfort. Smooth hands ran over his cold face, and he was pressed close to the devil in disguise... to this being masquerading as an angel. The guardian angel with the red eyes and dark soul.... One who was so loving and so evil all at once? The night grows old and still the devil-angel weeps over the body of his lover. Now that which is done can never be again.
Good bye, Israel.
