I see the world through the eyes of a fifteen year old knowing that the things that I've grown to know and love will soon forever be changed. Changed for the "greater good". With this in mind, I have a choice. Many people see this upcoming election as something that will 'change' America. This November, we will see who will take Bush's place and see if they do a better job. But things look pretty scary for the people who are running. Let's take a look at them, shall we?
Number 1: We have our one running Republican, John McCain. Seems pretty cool huh? I think not. He leans toward an elderly age. Old-fashioned. But he comes from and for a good cause. He wants the people to have the choice, to make the choice, and do what we choose to make this country better. He supports the war in Iraq, and that we should not pull back our troops. He believes that we should have a border control, and believes that Health Care should NOT be given to all the illegal citizens. With this in mind, he knows that if we Do do that, then we would put our economy into banruptcy. Not a good thing. Move on, shall we?
Number 2: Hilary Clinton. We all know our ABC's. Anybody But Clinton. I agree with that. The first Clinton was crap, so why another one? Even worse, it's the wife we're talking about here. Can't tell the truth if God Himself was standing there. She has nothing that we can look up too. She is nothing but BS, and with the war in the Middle East, we would be looked down upon with a woman president. We, as a nation, would be belittled for our lack of power for having a woman in office. Also, she's just a scary woman. We shoudl all know better....but then we have to think about our last candidate....
Number 3: This man is nothing but pure idiocy and horror. Barack Obama. The name says it all. Osama, Obama...that must mean something. He's black. I have nothing against blacks. He's Muslim. Now, I do have a problem with those considering we are at war with them. Obama wants to take away all our rights that we worked so hard for, Obama wants to make the 'change' that will somehow benefit America. How? If you want change, vote for this man! How about we take all our troops out of the Middle East, and after that let's be friends with the terrorists, so they can attack us every other day. Let's make a change where we don't have the right to bear arms, which is the Second Ammendment. We want to make a change, alright, let's make a change by taking God out of the equation. But wait, that would be taking away the First Amendment, freedom of religion, speech, press, assembly, and petition. want a change? Let's raise taxes! Bush did a good job with our taxes, and so well that our economy is thriving as we speak. Do we want freedom? No! We want a government controled country where All Of Our Rights Are Being Taken Away From Us. If this man gets into office, we won;t even be able to change the temperature on our thermastats. But no, we as Americans, want a change.
With this being said, I know I am young, I don't have all the facts clear as glass, but I want to have a future for my kids. With knowing this, I know that even my future will change. I want freedom. I want the right of individualism. I want God in my life. I don't want to be told how to do something, because law says too. I want the choice. You should listen to what everyone says. Because, I know that You have the choice.
"You go into these small towns in Pennsylvania and, like a lot of small towns in the Midwest, the jobs have been gone now for 25 years and nothing’s replaced them. And it’s not surprising, then, they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.” -- Obama....is this what you really want?
