Birdo - OUT

I don't think I've cried to hard in a long, long time.
For those of you who haven't heard about the latest Birdo-job news: they extended the project into August a couple of weeks ago. August the 20th. Well, now it's going to the 31st.

And I want to die.

Thankfully because school will be starting early in September, I can leave earlier like I planned - but even staying into August is killing me very, very, very slowly.
It's weird.
Up until last week I was fine with staying - I'm excited that I'll have more money coming in for those extra weeks, because it means I won't have to worry about tuition, christmas gifts, or Birdy-gifts (since I don't buy anything for myself very often). But then all of a sudden I fell apart.

It took a grand total of five seconds for me to go from playing Jak X with my cousins to lying in my room bawling my eyes out because I so desperately want this crap to be over and done with.
As usual I'm of two minds: stay and pay tuition easier, not having to worry about a part-timer through the year unless I want it. OR: go home and be with my family, of whom I've seen MAYBE three or four times since I left at the end of April. Be able to see my dog, who is apparently NOT doing well, and try to get my cats back to tolerating my presence. Being able to call my friends and demand to go see a movie/play games/do stupid things RIGHT THEN. Being HOME. Sleeping in my own bed. Not having everybody angry at me for calling them at home and asking for clarification on mistakes THEY MADE.

I don't think it'd be so bad if I didn't have to call people back.
I was great up until call-backs started for the Census, and then things got hairy.
People - including myself - do not want to be called at their homes by call-center workers!
There have been a couple calls where if I'd stayed on the phone any longer I'm certain I'd have started crying.

ARGH I don't even know why I'm typing about this junk.
Excuse me while I go take a nap neutral

You remember a time when Fox Tails and Fox Ears went for less than 1k a piece in the marketplace gonk
Dude - I remember when 1k was EXPENSIVE!
Now I go to the marketplace and all the crap I'd bought duringmy first year has like... quadrupled in price.

Is it because the boxes and such are WAY less frequent now?
Or am I just losing it?

And just to prove I was here a long time...
I remember when getting one enchanted trunk a day was normal neutral
And pink links used to show up every ten minutes

I miss those days.

I'm so cranky I want to cry.

Things just... aren't working out lately crying
My job is full of dumb people who don't know what the hell they're talking about, and they messed up my shifts (I still have hours but... they promised me fulltime and I'm getting only the equivalent of part-time work), I'm completely without artistic inspiration, and I can't seem to smile neutral

Such a happy week.
GOD I hope I feel better later or this journal is going to turn into a ranting session...

Birdo OUT

So for those who care: I moved out of my hometown a few days ago and into my grandparent's basement.
Yeah yeah yeah - not a big move... well peese off xp
It's a big deal for me - nyaaaaaaaah!

Anyway: hopefully by the time my (roughly) three months here are up I'll be ready to go home - and have killer legs too xd
I have a half hour bike ride to work each morning (work = why I moved) when I'm used to NO physical activity at all.
It was an interesting first week - my legs hate me now rofl

Who knows - Birdo might actually get a tan!
That is... if the FREAKING FROST LEAVES THE GROUND! scream
Had to bike in at 7am this morning and I tell ya - winter coats, mittens, and huge headphones have never been warmer.
But my bum was cold by the end of the ride crying

I figure I'm in need of some shameless self-promotion, so I'll post my darlings in here and tell you a little about them.

Ty is my baby, and he turned six this year in september - he's special, since he's the first ever fantasy creature I created. He's gone through a couple mutations (he started out yellow and blue, with stripes and a grey head - went purple and gold - and then settled on this) heart



Ley is Ty's mate - and I'm not sure how old she is. She was kind of a random experiment back when I was still learning how to draw Griffins, and she turned out quite stunning so I kept her heart



Hyou's the third Griffin I ever created - and he was supposed to have a story all his own (it was something about Faeries, Griffins, and other fun things) but the project fell through. Thankfully I kept Hyou as a memmento heart



Ah, Spindle! My itty-bitty princess! Spindle is only two years old - I created her for a monochromatic project in grade 12, and - like others before her - she stole my heart and I kept her heart



Bad boys read Shakespeare, ladies and gents. Roman was supposed to be my "evil" Griffin... and instead Spindle got hold of him and made him cute and sweet. They're mates - and I'm working on making them my main story Griffins for both RPing and story-related art projects heart



And last but not least: Luca. Roman and Spindle's first baby!
I'm a lazy a** and haven't hatched the poor dear yet, but I WILL - eventually...
