(Practice for writing stories/role playing)
He awoke with a deep throbbing in his head. His face was dripping with blood, mostly from his mouth and nose. Old and new bruises filled this mans face, and long this streaks covered his back. He could barely see out of his swollen eyes, but still he squinted out. He had forgotten where his was completely, but then he saw him. His horror, his source of pain. Everything bad from the past month had come from this man. As the man drew closer, the prisoner tried to run away. He couldn't move even a foot. He was tied to a pole, wrapped with a thick rope. The man chuckled,"Are you scared of me? You should be!"
The man then punched the prisoner in the face, knocking blood onto the cold, stained floor. "You know, Griffin, this will all end when you tell me where the damn Americans are attacking!"
Griffin replied,"I'll never tell you a goddamn ******** thing you mother ******** commie!" Griffin then spat out blood from his mouth onto the man.
"You shouldn't have done that, American." spat out the man. He then pulled out a pistol, and aimed it at Griffin's forehead. "Say goodbye, American."
A single shot echoed throughout the surrounding mile. For a brief moment, nothing stirred. Then the sound of a human body hitting the floor. Crows fluttered off, and suddenly a cry for help filled the air.
Griffin thought he was dead, he had expected to die. He finally opened his eyes, and found a scene of commotion. Ten or so Red's ran past him, and the would-be executioner lay dead at his feet. A single bullet was buried in his temple, and the floor had turned into a pool of blood. He couldn't believe it, someone had come to save him and the other prisoners.
Griffin looked out a nearby window, and saw the Chinese line up in a formation and fire upon his saviors. Suddenly, a Chinese soldier turned on the others, and quickly killed them all. He couldn't believe it, he'd never seen such a traitor. The saviors rushed down from their hiding places and ran up to the one surviving traitor. They talked for awhile, and gave a few nods. The 'head' savior pulled out a radio and called in a few things, then put the radio away. A man came running up to them with a briefcase, and opened it up. The Chinese man gave a nod, took the briefcase, and ran off.
Griffin couldn't believe what he had just seen. A Chinese Red had just turned on his comrades, and had violated the code of honor. Things like that, well, you don't even see it in movies. Despite being disgusted, he was also thankful. No more American blood had to be spilled in this wretched place. What he'd seen, well, he wasn't sure if he could sleep, even as tired as he was.
The soldiers quickly came over to Griffin's holding building, and upon entry, one blurted out,"What the hell? I haven't seen this much blood in a long time." "Shut up, Mike," said another soldier.
"Yes, sir,"
Griffin surveyed the squad. They were dressed mostly in white, to blend in with the heavy snow outside. They didn't look very formal, or even official.
