Description - Magnet Lady
At first, only animals were attracted to me. I would bring home boatloads of them every day. Unfortunately, I soon started attracting other, more painful things. After that metal chain-link fence clamped itself to my face, and I found that I couldn't let go of my equipment, I began to worry. And now, I have a feeling that I'm being haunted by ghosts, as well. What can I say? Reverse-engineering the hover device on the Zurg spaceship seemed like a good idea at the time...
Tell me what you think!

Random Story! (Warning - long) |

|
Alright, so you all get a random story from me. Apparently I need to release my "creative energies" doing something, so I decided on this. Enjoy!
****************************** The Beginning
Once upon a time, there was a princess named Kelly. Her country loved her and everything, but she just got sick of being fawned over by suitors, and so she decided to go away for a while. Before she left, she asked her advisor, Catherine, what she should do.
"Are you crazy?" Catherine responded. "Why are you going away without even planning on telling any of us?"
"But Caaatherine," the princess whined. "I'm soooooo bored! I just want to get away for a bit!"
Catherine stamped her foot. For an advisor, she was not very mature at times. "I wanna go, too!" Kelly started visibly. "What'll happen if both of us go?" she asked. "My country will be in turmoil!"
"Too bad," Catherine stated. Kelly shrugged. "OK."
Thus did Catherine and Kelly depart on their journey.
****************************** Lightpost Land
The first sign that they had left their country was their arrival in the Land of the Lightposts at the Top.
"Woooow," Kelly remarked from her carriage. Yup, even though they were going on a journey that could possibly change their lives, princesses will be princesses. None of this walking or horseback riding for them, she had to take the state-of-the-art coach with her before they left. "There are Lightposts here, Catherine!"
"Yes, milady," Catherine said in annoyance. "I would like to remind you that that is the tenth time you've stated that." Why did she insist on coming, again? She was about to rebuke Kelly from leaning out the window, when Kelly suddenly reseated herself.
"We're leaving the Lightpost Land," the princess remarked with some sadness.
"Cheer up, milady," Catherine tried. "Next is the land of InMaSoAr, where they capitalize every other letter in their speech."
"Then what are they doing?" Kelly asked, pointing at a passing couple, conversing normally.
"Only the natives speak the language of InMaSoAr fluently," Catherine replied with a knowing grin. Kelly scratched her head, puzzled. "So how many natives are there in Inma...INMA...whatever you call it?"
"Three, and they all died fighting something in a cave."
****************************** The Gates of InMaSoAr
When our two heroines disembarked, they stood for a moment facing the gates that they were required to pass to enter InMaSoAr. The gates held one mysterious riddle, inscribed upon their stormy surfaces. It had been foretold long ago that only the CHOSEN HERO would be able to answer the confounding question --
"Dude." Kelly finally spoke up. "What kind of lame riddle is this?" She turned to Catherine. "And stop it with the foreshadowing." Catherine blushed, and muttered "sorry" as Kelly turned back to the gates. "I mean, come on. It's the sphinx riddle that's been overused a million times." She wrote the answer on a conveniently placed pad of paper, and the gates swung open.
"Enter," boomed a disembodied voice. With a glance at Catherine, the two of them walked into the doomed land.
"Caaaatherine, why are we here?" Kelly whined.
"Because you wanted to take an adventure!" Catherine whined back. "Besides, the land needs a CHOSEN HERO to solve its evils." Kelly pouted. "What did I say about the foreshadowing?" Catherine merely rolled her eyes and progressed to the next part of the story.
****************************** The Terrors of the Board
Upon entering the domain of InMaSoAr, Kelly began to yawn. "Catherine, I say we take a nap for a bit."
"NO!" Catherine yelled. "Your duty as a CHOSEN HERO requires you to move on despite all obstacles and--" She stopped. Kelly was already sleeping on the ground. "Oh, fine, whatever." She fell asleep next to Kelly.
About eight hours later...
Kelly yawned and opened her eyes, only to scream. The person hovering over her screamed, as well.
"Who are you! What are you doing?!" Kelly scooted backwards, right into Catherine, who promptly awoke.
"I cOuLd SaY tHe SaMe AbOuT yOu!" the person responded indignantly. Catherine blinked. "Er...what? We don't understand."
"I sAiD, i CoUlD sAy ThE sAmE aBoUt -- aw, screw it. Stupid talk takes too long to say, anyways." The person extended a hand. "I'm Erik. Sorry 'bout that."
"Yeah. Sure. Now, what were you doing hovering right over my head?" Kelly grumbled, secretly sneaking a look at the newcomer.
"It's the law of the Board." Both girls furrowed their brows in confusion. "The bored?"
"No, the Board," Erik explained. "The Board here makes all our rules. I'm trying to make it angry enough to let me get out of this place." Both girls exchanged looks.
****************************** Teh Plot Revealed!
"So," said Kelly. "Tell me more about yourse--I mean, this Board."
"The Board is the ruling force of InMaSoAr. It makes unfair rules, and just sucks in general. It's said that the Board will be vanquished if a CHOSEN HERO decides to defeat it voluntarily--"
"FINE! FINE! I GET IT ALREADY! Kelly screamed to the heavens. "NOW QUIT IT WITH THE FORESHADOWING!"
"So, given that I heard your friend call you a CHOSEN HERO, I need you to help the land of InMaSoAr."
"Erik, or whatever your name is," Catherine sighed. "You've gotta learn. Hinting at the plot blatantly is perfectly acceptable, but saying it outright is a big no-no."
"Hinting blatantly, huh?" Erik paused and thought awhile before speaking again. "All right, I am not the prince of a distant land, I have not promised my hand in marriage to anyone who could free InMaSoAr from the Board, and I do not promise to be a loving and caring husband." Kelly immediately stopped screaming at the sky. "Sign me up!"
****************************** Climaxness
"So, let's go find that Board thing-a-ma-bobber, mkay?" Kelly bounced, excited.
"Of course. I'll lead you to it." Erik pointed in a direction, and they began walking.
"So, what do you do to pass the time around here?" Kelly asked about after ten minutes of walking. Erik blinked out of a glazed look. "You don't know how to get places quickly? Here, I'll show you." He took a piece of paper, and wrote:
At the Board's lair...
"Whoa," Catherine said, looking up at the Board's lair. "That's a really neat trick."
"Well, are we ready?" Kelly asked. "Then in we go." They stepped into the darkened room. Slowly, they were able to make out the dim form of the Board...
"What?!" Kelly glared at Erik. "Don't tell me that this is the thing that you're scared of." In her hand was a long, wooden two by four.
Erik nodded vigourously. "It's a very scary board. It gave me a splinter once."
"Yeesh." Kelly tossed the board into a conviently-places fire. Immediately, the flames consumed the wood. The cloudy skies parted, birds started chirping, and all that good stuff.
****************************** Short Ending
Kelly married Erik, they went back to his castle/realm thingy, and lived happily for the rest of their lives. Catherine took over the realm that Kelly left, and she lived happily too. The end.
******************************
So, tell me what you thought, suggestions, flames, whatever! If I get any good comments on this one, I'll write another...eventually.

A few things on being sick - first of all, don't tell any of your friends that you're sick. If they're great friends, they won't make a big deal of it, but if they're not, they'll avoid you like the plague. Probably because they think that you caught the plague.
Next, when you call home to talk with your mother, you need to make sure that you don't talk in a sick voice. If not, at least half the conversation will be on the things you should have done to prevent being sick, then blaming the friends around you for getting you sick, then new cures found in the newspaper/on the internet/in scholarly journals for the common cold.
Finally, if you're a student, for crying out loud, quit being stubborn and take a sick day. You may miss a day of school, but it's better to spend the day recuperating rather than getting everyone else within a 100-foot radius sick. Also, you'll feel like crap. Really.
I've skipped steps one and two. Guess which step I'm going to skip next? ~Tigress

A friend is always someone who will be there for you. A friend is someone who can sense that you're in need. A friend is the one person you can trust. A friend is the person who you're sure won't do anything stupid.
My friends aren't always there for me. My friends can't always tell I'm in need. My friends aren't always trustworthy. And most of all, my friends have done too many stupid things.
Until two days ago, I didn't know my friend would leave. Until two days ago, I didn't know my friends wouldn't understand. Until two days ago, I didn't think my friend would drink illegally.
Two days ago, I spent the day crying in my bedroom. Two days ago, I found out that my friend was caught drunk. He's seventeen, and is one of the smartest and nicest people I know. He was caught drinking in his dorm on Saturday, and has only just returned. I didn't understand. How could this happen? He wasn't mean or nasty, like the drunks portrayed everywhere. He didn't have crying fits, and the only strange thing about him was that he used to wear his hair down to his upper back before he cut it about a couple months ago. Stereotypes didn't factor in. He was my friend. How could someone...my friend...do this...?
If you've taken the time to read down to this, please - don't drink underage. Because if you've bothered to read this, I consider you my friend.

This Christmas, I'm deciding to write a story for FanFiction. It's about halfway done, and I may just have it up before the day is out.
Oh, and if anybody reads this, please check out my stories at FanFiction and tell me what you think! My beta-reader checks my stories, but she thinks I'm amazing even if I write junk.

Now that we're done with life, we return! |

Yeah. Sorry I didn't appear for a while, but I had a major paper to write for history that took up all of my time. If I ever have to write one again, I swear...wait, there's one due next week.
Well, it's not like anybody cares. I mean, if anybody did care, they'd post a comment. *sigh* I'm just a little guppy in the big galaxy of sharks.
Does anybody know of my existance?
