Nothing.
Oh, Light!
Glimpsing back at the foul days of time that lay behind hazel eyes,
Thickened shadows overwhelming the desires and dreams that lift during the devilish moon rise.
Listening to the outcries of others reaching out while she slept within the darkness,
Laying bleakly believing that her lustful hunger would be endless.
Alone she sings the songs of silence in her clouded soul that screams,
Disregarding the arms of God while painful tears begin to stream.
Her flesh was bitter,
Until beams of sunlight shone down on her pale skin.
Tears turned to glistening shimmers of sheer crimson falling down her face,
Knowing it was God who had looked into her sombre eyes.
Now she watches the darkness from afar and smiles,
As the shadows intertwine with one another in denial.
After all,
Silence has a melody of its own.
Oh, light..
