To Michigan!

Starting this Saturday I'l be leaving with my family to take a two-week road trip to Michigan, to see all my relatives and attend my grandfather's memorial service.

Now, my Michigan relatives are simple people- by this I mean they all have dial-up. I might be able to snag a few minutes of internet at the hotels, but for the most part I'll be cut off from all my Gaian buddies.

Also, I'll be in Michigan for the release of the final Harry Potter book. I do love me some Harry Potter. (Not the movie, no- his head is all square. Ew.) So, just for fun, I'm going to put up this, which I will then stick on my Grandmother's fridge.

Stacy's Harry Potter Day FAQ!

Q: What is Stacy's Harry Potter Day?

A: Stacy's Harry Potter Day is the day I drag my mother up at some ungodly hour, force her to drive me to the nearist Sam's, beat away small children with a large, blunt object, obtain the latest Harry Potter book for myself, take it home, and read it. All of it.

Q: Wait- all of it in one day? That's not possible.

A: I did it with the last three books- trust me, it's possible.

Q: How long will it take you?

A: Who knows? Usually anywhere from six to midnight is when I'll finish.

Q: Are you going to take bathroom breaks?

A: Don't be gross.

Q: Food?

A: Probably not.

Q: What will happen if I try to tell you about my day/engage in conversation/coerce you into making dinner?

A: I will either ignore you or get violent. Don't test it- this is your only warning.

Q: Will you put that book down and just come to dinner!?

A: NO! NO FOOD! I'll just nibble on the pillows if I get peckish!

Q: Your going to get clots in your legs if you just read all day.

A: Okay, no I'm not. Stop saying that. Really.

A: What? That's not even a question! I'm gonna go play Sims2
