Build -- Short and thin, not much muscle or body fat, but not deathly skinny. She has rather small boobs, a thin waist, and nice hips, but not much of a butt.
Skin -- Typical Japanese skin tone.
Hair -- Short and messy. She keeps her natural pitch black hair color, but adds crazy highlights and extensions. She often wears extensions that have various animal prints on them, or stripes/polka dots. Her hair is never the same when you see her, she often puts it in two pigtails, one pigtail in the back that you can see from the front, or completely straight in the front and spiked up in the back.
Eyes -- Mai's eyes are black, and she wears contacts she bought online that make them look like cat eyes. Very thin, and she tends to close them when she smiles. There is normally a jewel or a star of some sort next to her eyes on each side of both eyes.
Face -- A very slender, baby face. It definately has a cute vibe to it, not boyish, sexy, or hot at all, actually. She has a skinny face, except for her cheeks which are round and slightly plump. She uses her cute face to an advantage, and enjoys making silly faces in the mirror.
Markings -- Mai has a few marking, but not many. She has two scars on each side of her face, right above her slender jaw line and right bellow her ears. They come out in length until about half of her face. They are vital to her person, without them, she would not feel complete.
She has a tattoo of a heart on her lower stomach, closer to her hip. It normally doesn't show because of how far down it is.
Clothing
Top -- Mai typically wears clothes that she makes herself, and they are definately outlandish. Japanese street-fashion, mostly. Her tops consist of crazy patterns, and she enjoys to layer her clothing. She is big on bright colors, and often wears several different colors at once. When she wears long sleeves, they always droop at the end slightly, and the sleeves always reach past her hands. But when she doesn't wear long sleeves, she ALWAYS wears more than once shirt. Mostly consisting of fish nets, tank tops, animal prints, ect. Anything to stand out from the crowd.
She often wear dresses as well. They are never too long, always quite short, actually. They tend to poof out right at the waist line, almost like a tutu. She wears things from maid dresses that are completely happy-go-lucky, to ones with corsets that are completely dark and gloomy. She tends to add allot of "Pizazz" to her dresses, such as beads and loose cloth.
As for jackets, she enjoys wearing trench coats that reach the ground. They need to be a bit too large for her, and they either reach to right bellow her butt, or are dragging behind her slightly.
Bottom -- When she's not wearing a dress, she wears bottoms that range pretty far up and down the scale. Most of the time, you see her in a tutu that is very large, and reaches out quite far from her body. She never leaves her legs bare. No matter the outfit, she has something on her legs. She either wears ripped fishnet tights, socks that reach up a bit father than her knees, or a special pair of socks that reach about eight inches above her knee. They are white and black striped, and she tends to wear them allot.
When she wear pants[A rare occasion], she wears many different types of skinny jeans, varying from checkered, to animal prints, to plain black with many band patches on them.
Footwear -- Normally, Mai wears her combat boots that reach right bellow her knee if not lower. They have many buckles on them, studs, and spikes. If she's not wearing these, she's probably wearing her converse, rain boots, or her extremely tall stilettos.
Accessories-- Mai is BIG on accessories. She typically wears many bracelets at once-- Including spike bracelets, jelly bracelets, stud bracelets, bead bracelets, ect. She tends to wear many necklaces, as well. She adds glowsticks to allot of her jewelry. Her outfits consist of several rings on each hand.
She wears many belts at once, at the most four with one outfit. She feels that an outfit is not complete without any accessories. She also likes to wear hats, typically miniature top hats that are on one side of her head, if not full sized top hats.
If shes not wearing a top hat, shes DEFINITELY wearing any sort of animal ears. End of story.
Makeup-- Mai is always wearing accesive makeup to go with her outfits. Say she was wearing a rainbow themed outfit, she would have rainbow extensions, yes, but she would most likely have her eye makeup up to her eyebrows with the different colors in straight lines, running into eachother with glitter.
She also wears quite a bit of lipstick, and enjoys making herself look like a ventriloquist doll.
Extras
Personality--Mai is fun, sweet, and bubbly. She is extremely hyper, and is usually smiling. Still being a rather young teen, she tends to have emotional breakdowns every so often due to her shitty life. But she puts on a nice face, and is honestly appreciative and happy with what she does have, rather than harping on what she doesn't.
She's the kind of girl that if a shark came and bit off one of her legs, she would say something like "Well, at least I still have the other". Very optimistic, 'glass is half full' kind of girl.
Although she misses Tokyo, she is glad to be in America, and feels more independent and special here, because when you walk down the street you don't see many people that look like her.
Mai loves to dance, sing, and have a great time. She is always the life of the party, and loves to flirt and kiss.
Likes -- Chocolate Pocky, Dancing, having fun, kissing, hugging her friends, meeting new people, Ramen, noodles, food, making funny faces, jumping, parties, confusing Americans with speaking repetitive Japanese, any kind of music except for rap, and stuffed animals.
Dislikes -- Grumpy people, killjoys, pickles, getting denied for a hug, people who think all she has to her is smiles and a pretty face, rap music, and car commericals.
