New poem I wrote. Hope you like it.

-Invisible Like Me-

I try to help.
I’m here for you.
To cheer you up.
When your day is blue.

Yet you don’t care.
Your mind is away.
It’s on someone else.
I can’t make it stay.

But I’m still here.
But you walk on by.
You look strait ahead.
You don’t see me cry.

You just quit,
You don’t want to fail.
Yet in my heart,
You left a trail.

Those words hurt.
They ran deep.
Tears now fall because,
A promise you did not keep.

I see now.
I’m not the one.
You don’t want me.
You’ve held the gun.

You really don’t see.
Many tears I have shed.
There are thoughts I think.
I cry in my bed.

I feel like nothing.
You just can’t see.
Unless you are also,
Invisible like me.
