I am bound, By the wires, Of life. Held stationary, Until I am, Released. If I struggle, They cut deeper, I scream in agony, From the feel, Of loneliness. I see a light, An open door. A shadowy figure, Strides toward me. The gentle touch, Releasing me, From the wires. My wrists, Ankles and other places, Bleed from the cuts, The wires inflicted. The same gentle touch, Lifts me, From the hurtful wires, And takes me, Into a light, Happy world. A world without hurt, A world of love.
