The room around the EX-Soldier is clouded in thick smoke, breathing by holding a wet cloth over his face as he searched the room for any life. "Anyone here!" He called out, hearing nothing he turned to exit the room, but then suddenly heard a child screaming
//Cloud there's a child just left of you down the hallway in the last bedroom// A voice spoke roughly through Cloud's earpiece.
"Can you see her?" Cloud questions as he makes his way down the hallway feeling the wall for any heat sources as he walked along
//No. But Yuffie just came out with people, no signs of the new girl yet.//
Cloud couldn't help but to be worried because the new addtion to the group isn't really the hero type of person. After all she's just their guide. "Find her for me Vincent."
//Alright.//
Cloud turned the handle of the door but to his shock that the handle is hot and increasing in heat. "I'm coming!" Cloud steps back and kicks out the door and runs into the burning room finding the girl huddled in the corner holding her stuffed animal. "Come here" Cloud held out his hand towards her
She looked at the stange man in black clothes, scared her stood up and ran at him.
Cloud lifts her into his arms then puts the cloth over her face, "This will help you breathe,"
She nodded.
//Cloud.// A female voice spoke
Cloud breaks the window and looked out "Where are you?" Cloud makes the jump out the window to be caught by Aerith's wind spell and lowered saftely to the ground.
//Sorry Cloud... but I can't leave here.//
Cloud looked at the buliding "W-What?"
"Mr. Up there" The girl point to the roof
Cloud looked up and everyone else looked up to see two figures "Vai get out of there!!"
//I can't, I won't leave him behind//
Aerith looked at Cloud. and spoke clamly to him "I'll go Cloud, stay here." Aerith summons water to clear a path through the flames but to be only held back by Cloud.
"Take her, I'll go." Cloud hands over the girl to Aerith then runs into the buliding again as flames covered the entrace to the buliding again.

Vai takes off the ear piece and looked at the elderly man lying asleep in her lap "Don't worry I won't leave you here alone." But the elderly man had already passed on and started fading away to the life stream "I'll stay until you've fully passed on to the lifestream. . . grandfather."

Cloud made he way throught the buliding performing water spells himself and came across Vincent also performing water spell "Vincent, Vai's on the roof."
Vincent looked at Cloud, nodding Vincent took the lead clearing the way with water. Cloud and Vincent came to the roof to find Vai holding a elderly man in her arms as he faded in soft green glow
"Vai."
Vai looked to see Cloud and Vincent standing in the door way "Leave us!"
Vincent walked forward to take a closer look "He's your grandfather right?"
"I said go away, I'm staying with him until he goes home to grandma." Vai held him tighter tearing but acting strong
Vincent sighes then kneels down to her lever "Vai listen, you may love him"
"I do!"
Vincent puts his hand on Vai's shoulder "What i've come to say is that I'm not your father, I've only taken that role because Lucrezia asked me too. I accepted and this man isn't your grandfather"
