There are some things we feel are good in our lives and some that are bad, and we have to decide how to look at life. Not suprisingly, we see that our life is full of parts we like and the stuff that comes with it. For instance, you might be wealthy but your parents are never around. After considering that you might find that you must choose which blessing you would like, having money and everything you could ever want and more, or having two parents who are always there when you need or want them, who do fun activities with you and show you that life is less materialistic and more about the things in life that you can't buy. Happiness, friendship, family, love and meaningful living. Some might choose the wealth and say, "well I hate not seeing my mom or dad very often, but my dad just gave me an unlimited use credit card, so that's something..." Then they slowly realize that maybe there are more important things in life than tons of money and everything you can buy. They see that they aren't truly happy. They see that they could have true happiness with the things that no amount can buy. Then you see the people who have practically nothing yet they are happy. They have a family that loves them and even though they can't get new clothes for school or they live in a tiny apartment, they have a home and they still have each other. Everyone goes through this and it really does show who you really are inside. Some older people call it a mid-life crisis or something like that, but i call it a wake-up call to the rest of your life.
