in the monnlight
and it scared my face to see
but i could not look away
the pain of light struck the very soul
but it was worth it
to see you again
and my lips trembled
as before...
i saw your face
in the shadow
and it hurt my eyes to tell the difference
between you and the gloom of the night's shadow
and as i reached out to help you out
you vanished
before our lips could embrace again
as before...
