"I'm ready. I want to become a healer." Chris announced.
"Good, I'll have Sylvia here help you start training." Teacher replied before leaving to help Courtanie, Jacob, and Jon. Sylvia was an old, wrinkled woman with a hunched back and glasses, she wore a nurse's outfit and arried scrolls with her.
"Come now, deary, you can't stay here forever, we need to start training." she said sweetly. She started walking as Chris trailed until they came down a hallway into a room with shallow pools of water near the walls with book cases embedded in the walls themselves. The bookshelves themselves were filled to the brim with books, healing ones, summoning ones, conservation of power ones, a book for everything healing. Sylvia walked into the center of the room where she put the scrolls down and they just levitated until a small, circular table appeared.
"What do we start with?" Chris asked.
"We'll start with basic healing, just bumps and bruises. How long are you staying with us again?? she asked in return.
"Me? uhh... the whole summer I think, I'm not sure yet, my mom has-"
"That's all I wanted to know, now, where'd I put that?" Sylvy pulled out a small knife and cut open a doll that appeared on the table.
"This is how it works" she said "you just put your hands like this, think about how badly you feel that the person or object was hurt, and..." The doll's cuts and bumps just vanished, the doll looked brand new, like it was just sealed and ready to ship.
"OK, but how am I supposed to do this?"
"Just like I said! You can take the doll wherever you want and cut and heal it again, just for practice." Sylvia said.
"Thank you, I'll do that."
