Prologue
Jamena walked to the edge of the cliff as she thought of suicide, often times when this would happen, somebody would save her, but this time there was nobody in sight. She looked over the edge of the cliff now with a spaced out look on her face, was she really going to do it this time? After all of these years, would she really commit suicide? As the wind blew through her long brown hair, she continued to look at the bottom of the cliff with her crystal blue eyes. Although it was true that she wanted to join her family, she wasn't to certain about whether or not she could do this. She took a deep breath then sat down with her feet hanging over the edge "Mother...father...master...this would be for you." she said sadly.
Before she knew what was happening, somebody ran over to her quickly and knocked her out. Her body went limp and she fell to the right side, the person making sure that she didn't fall over the edge. As she was sleeping, she actually dreamed. One of the first dreams she'd had in a long time. She dreamed that shewas in a completely dark place and there were eyes everywhere, just watching her for any movement. She felt as if they all wanted to kill her. Suddenly, clear wire shot out from everywhere and four pieces tied themselves around her wrists and ankles. They were attached to a wooden cross that was in a huge hand. Her eyes grew wide, then her body grew limp and her arms and feet began to move. Without her wanting to, she suddenly began to sing, this sudden happening was scaring her, but it was as if she were a puppet, nothing she could do to save herself. Somebody cut the four strings and she began to fall through a giant hole. She screamed loudly then landed on her back on the ground. She winced then gasped as she saw a neko standing there putting his hand out, offering to help her. She thought for a moment then slowly took his hand and sighed out. The neko smiled "I'm Logan..." he said happily. She nodded then slowly began to fade away. She was now waking up.
When she awoke, there were five people staring at her "You shouldn't have hit her so hard!" one voice said, it was the voice of a male, "Well I'm sorry...I didn't think she'd be out so long!" another voice said, the voice of a female. Somebody laughed "Well, it's fine...you didn't mean it." a third voice said, another male voice. Another person shook their head then sighed out "I hope she'll be ok..." this voice was male as well. What was it with all of the male voices? Finally, the last person spoke "Well, there's no use in trying to do anything now...what's happened has happened, we must look forward to the future." another male. This male voice sounded awfully familiar though, it sounded similair to the voice of the neko in her dream. When her blurred vision got better, she gasped seeing that it was the neko "Where am I! You tell me now!!" she screamed angrily. She saw that there was an angel who walked up to her "Calm down, we're here to help you." he said calmly. She nodded then sat on the ground "Where am I?" she asked calmly. The angel sighed out "Great, we have to go through another Raven..." he said annoyedly. Raven chuckled "Hey, I wasn't that bad..." she said happily. He nodded then looked at Jamena "You're at our home, and we stopped you from commiting suicide." he said happily. She nodded "Ok, so...who are all of you?" she asked confusedly. Raven, the girl, smiled "Well, I'm Raven, that angel there is Kalob, the neko is Logan, the demon over there is Kouji, and the vampire is Kai." she said happily.
Jamena looked at Logan then nodded "You were in my dream..." she said in a confused way. She shook her head then sighed out "Well...this is strange..." she said emotionlessly before she opened the door and stepped outside "Well, see ya." she said happily before she began to walk away. Kai shook his head and walked towards her "HEY! You have to stay with us!!" he screamed angrily. She shook her head and began to run away, into the woods. Kai chased after her deciding to be slow today. Jamena, bieng the klutz that she was, tripped over the root of a tree and screamed "s**t! I THINK I TWISTED MY ANKLE!!" she screamed angrily. Kai chuckled then found her and picked her up "Sleep..." he said before she fell asleep. He then carried her into the house for an examination.
