This is a poem I wrote about how my boyfriend makes me feel when I'm with him. And, I'm not just being dreamy-romantic, this is really how I feel about him.

i don’t want to sleep
without you
or dream, unless it
is of you
the rhythm of your
heart soothes me
i want to rest now
on your chest
and breath you in, with
your gentle
arms around me
it almost hurts to
watch you go
and be without your
perfect touch
the warmth of your kiss,
relaxing
will you hold me for
a time now
and ease me into
a happy
sleep against you
