Fullmetal Alchemist (anime)

to short tempered shrimps scream
this show was actually pretty good.
When two boys loose their mother, they try to bring them back, ed loosing his arm and leg, and al loosing his body in the prosess. The show follows their journey as they try to find the philosophers stone to restore themselfs to their origional form.
It looked cheesy, and kinda like a sellout to me, but it was pretty good.
in fact, I began hating the weekends after a few episodes for the sole reason that it didn't come on untill late monday night.
It was exiting, and somewhat complex with characters that are easy to love.
overall, I'd give this show an 8/10
don't watch if you don't like violence, and it has little to no "inappropriateness"
I'd say only watch it if you usually stay up untill late, or can record it and don't watch it right before bed if you're somewhat easily scarred because some of them can be pretty creepy.
I'd have to say the anime is better than the manga, but there are many opinions out there.
