Wow... I keep forgetting how much the holidays SUCK when you're an adult. This is the first year my bf and I actually got to make a holiday dinner. It was soooo tasty, but d*** it takes a lot to clean up afterwards... all the dishes and the mess on the stove and table from having people over to eat and such. Not to mention cleaning up after the kids opened their xmas presents... xp Now I know exactly why my dad always got so p***ed off over xmas, heheh. But other than that, it was pretty cool. The food tasted great, which I'm really happy about, cause it's the biggest meal my bf and I ever tried to make all at once. We had some turkey breast cooked for a whole 24 hours in the slow cooker, homemade mashed potatoes, yams, corn, green beans, stuffing, pumpkin pie, and apple pie with crumbly graham cracker topping on it. It's the first time I made apple pie from scratch too, so I didn't really know if it was going to turn out. Now that that's done though, I am soooo not cooking that much again in a long, long time!
