This month's been interesting for me to say the least.
The most notable of incidents being my finishing of college. That's right no more school for me! (Unless of course I decide to be insane and go for my Masters) I don't have my degree in hand but it’s awesome to know it’s all finished. Figured I'd take a few months off to just enjoy life again before I start job searching...that and everyone's pointing out to me that trying to find a job in early January is just going to be difficult. Maybe I'll do some freelance work in the meantime, there's this Chinese food restaurant that just opened up in town, has amazing food but its menu and flyer were just...oooogggllayyyy. I might see if I can offer them my fancy services at super cheap please-I-need-more-stuff-for-my-portfolio rates. Ha ha.
In other news the day I finished my boyfriend took me out to dinner and afterwards just for fun we wandered into a pet store. I always check out the betta fish when I go to pet stores, I love the way they look and since I've had one for a while I've been tempted to get another (especially since my current one hadn't been eating much and wasn't looking too good). So without having the intent on buying one, I came across this awesome colored one that's kinda black and this bright teal with little black spots in his fins...I needed to buy him. lol
So I had a new betta, finished school, and got dinner all in one night. Not bad! Names the newbie Victor which you have to say with an accent so it sounds like Veek-tor instead of Vick-tor because it's neat. And hey...I'm the freak that named my other betta Ludwig razz
And finally...speaking of Ludwig, he died last night/this morning. sad
I knew he was on the way out which is why my subconscious told me to buy a new one. I'll miss my little red freak show. He was hilarious, spazzing out around his giant brandy glass and following my finger whenever I pressed it against the glass.
Yup...I'll miss my little chum. Victor will keep me company but I know he'll never replace my first little fish that I only got because a new petstore was opening in my town and he was free. Bye bye Wiggie, I shall miss you my crazy little fishie friend. sad
And since I don't want to end this on a down note...I'll speak of upcoming crazyness. Tomorrow Gaia's event starts, that should be fun...Thursday starts Guild Wars' Wintersday festivities, Saturday I'm going over to a few relatives' houses for food, Sunday I'm going to Disneyland (for the annual "There's no one here!" trip), and Monday is Christmas. Whoohoo.
