Story:
Kong (Jason Wu) is a promising youth Martial Artist, who gets discovered by the Triads one day. They offered him to participate in undergound competitions, and also promised him a part of the winnings. In need of money, he later agrees. Not knowing what his girlfriend is doing behind his back.
The movie completely fullfilled my high expectations action-wise. and also surprised me plot-wise. Wu Jing will definetely be the next Jet Li in my opinion. Good skills and good acting. Ronald brings in the comic part. Even if he can't light up the darker growing story, he has still done a solid job. But the two "main gals" (Miki Yeung and Theresa Fu) needs improvement in their acting though. The atmosphere of the movie about "hard lifes and the cruel world" could have been much deeper, cause of them. However it's still a very recommendable movie.
Short said: Awesome action, with a few "deep, meaningful and moral moments" and an ending, which Hollywood would have failed.
