Ok, so let's just skip to the chase. If you've ever ran out of gas on a busy road you'll know that same sickening feeling as your car won't accerlate than slowly starts to die. Well, that happeend to me today coming home from the shelter on Thomasville road. It was about half a mile from Wal-Mart so I guess I was fortunate in that. I had to walk that sistance to charge a gas can, a Cherry Coke, and 2 gallons of gas on my Visa, walk all the way back, and brave the harrowing few minutes to lean over and try to empty the can into my tank while cars fly bar, sometimes not bothering to move over into the middle lane when they had the chance in order to avoid hitting me. This whole ordeal did, however, teach me a bit on human nature and perspectives. So instance, you can walk out of a wal-Mart with a gas can, walk up to the gas station, fill the can, and walk down the street with the can and no one will so much as look at you. I saw another way to look at this than the obvious but that was kinda already shot down as not a big deal, and I tend to agre now. Anywho, the perspectives thing I knda wanted to write about but am now too lazy to go through with it.
I got home, didn't bother telling my parents what happened, then headed off to Howard's house. We went to a chili cook-off thing at his church where I got free dinner and was able to listen to the really cool pastor with the scottish accent, speak. Went back to Howard's and watched Yojimbo so I guess the day wasn't a total loss.
