How sadly mistaken he was to dream fo the honnest people of today!
by Gevorg Emin (no title)
My poems will in future let you know
That I had once been living on this earth.
Yet is that immortality? Oh no!
Not much is immortality then worth!
Who will there be to tell me about you,
Destined to read my poetry tomorrow?
And you, my friends from other planets, who
Will tell me of your work, your joy and sorrow?
The bright new world where I will never be,
The love, whose like today I’ll never find.
The future people, honest, brave and kind-
Who, who will tell about them all to me?
