The time has come
To get dressed up and have some fun.
The choices are unbelievable
Tonight is the night to make things rememberable.

Children running back and forth
Ringing the doorbell and then shouting in a gleeful voice.
A single phrase
Is all they will ever say.

Trick or Treat is the only thing you will hear that night
Coming in costumes that will leave you in delight or in a fright.
From Goblins and Ghowls
To Witches and Werewolves.

The children are on a mission
One that makes them quite determined.
To fill the buckets and bags with sinful sweets
That will leave them with tummy aches for days and weeks.

This is the night
When its okay to give others a fright.
Some will laugh and yell
While others will soil themselves.

Happy Halloween and to all a good night
Remember to look under the bed to make sure nothing will bite.
For this is the night
When monsters come out and give you a fright
That will haunt you for the rest of your life.
