We interupt ur regular life programing to bring u a special opinionated report by urs truely Rin.........
for those of u who don't know, MLK stands for Martin Luther King....today at school we had a re-creation of a march during the civil rights movements.....it went good it was better than i expected.....being hispanic i tend to only sympathize a lil' bit with the african americans of the past and their struggle, my ancestors went through a lot as well with descrimnation and alienation so i completely get the whole civil rights movement but here's the thing.....ignorant ppl make lil' comments that just show how the ppl in the past worked their butts off for nothing! sure they and by they i mean african americans-and hey don't get me wrong i'm not saying ALL black ppl are bad OK- say they want freedom and equality and all this bunch of crap they say just cuz its Black History month or MLK day! so they talk all this s**t about how they're miss treated by whites and blah blah well i find extremely rude and ignorant as well as ironic that even though they talk about the negative affects of racism and descrimnation they, themselves, descrimnate agaisnt others mainly i would speculate whites......so my point is if a person is gonna say something negative about an issue they should bake it up with actions, its so hypocritical to say EXAMPLE "hey u can't march cuz ur white" and than say "oh i want equal rights in this country" WTF?
anywayz for those who read this and take it offensive know that its the truth and it may have seemed like a harmless joke to say comments like that but when U walk a mile in my damn shoes and feel that ur a minority ur self, and yes i know blacks are minorities but i talkin about how i go to basically an all-black school and feel very alienated from others, u will realize that i take things very seriously!!!
