“Sora… Sora…” I heard as I came back to consciousness. I blinked my eyes. Eylon was sitting next to me with a look of concern on her face. I tried to sit up all to have Eylon push me back down. “Don’t. You’ve lost too much blood.” Eylon whispered. I looked around to find myself laying in dried blood- my blood. Suddenly, I felt a little light-headed. “You should’ve seen it,” Eylon started, “That guy threw you a good ten feet. You blacked out once you hit the cement. You lost a lot of blood once you hit the ground.” She paused. “Maxx ran to the guy with a really angry look on his face. I guess he doesn’t like people hurting people. That guy whispered something to Maxx and he looked as horrified as you did earlier before he threw you. Then that guy transported and left. Maxx… I don’t know where he went.” She ended and looked away. Tears started to roll down her cheeks. “I couldn’t do anything to help.” She whimpered.
I sat up trying to support myself. I really had lost too much blood. I looked around to see others getting up. I guess the rocks and such took them out. A voice whispered in my head, They’re just too weak… I jerked awake and alert. Nobody said that. It had to be me but… I didn’t think it. I’d have to think about that later. There were more important things to think about now, like who that guy was and how he knew my name. I stood up swaying back and forth from the loss of blood.
“Hey, Eylon. I’m going to the lake.” I said as I started to walk off. She just sat there and stared at me with wide eyes. “What is it?” I asked.
“It’s your magic aura. It seems… like that again.” She meekly replied. I could feel that. It was because I saw his eyes and felt his magical aura. It had started my blood to boil. I always felt like that before I went into that bloodthirsty state. I just staggered to the lake without looking back.
Once I reached the lake, I glanced at the shimmering water. I let myself collapse to the ground. The grass felt so comforting compared to the cement. The sun was rising in the sky and the clouds peacefully drifted along. The scenery brought back memories. Most of the memories were of Eylon and herself swimming, playing, and climbing trees. One of the memories, though, wasn’t so peaceful. This was also the place where I first lost control of myself. I went into that bloodthirsty state. It was horrible; I burned everything in sight. That was a few years ago and the trees, grass, and plants have grown back again.
Then I heard it- voices, and there were close by. And the next thing I knew, strong arms pushed me back against a tree, tied me to it, and put a sword blade at my throat. Then that same deep, gravelly voice whispered, “Hello, Sora. Nice to meet you again.” It was that guy from before at the school with those blood shot eyes.
