With all the rumble flying, it was hard to concentrate, but this is what all us Element Fighters had trained for. For years, we trained and fought mercilessly. This was the time to put all those years of hard work into action. I turned into my fighting stance, ready to beat whoever this person was. As I glanced around, I noticed some of my fellow classmates fighting for there lives against the rumble trying to protect themselves. I smiled that smile I always did before a battle. Without thinking twice, I dashed toward the figure. Once I was about five feet away from the figure, I was forced back, sending me flying in the opposite direction. Force field and a strong one at that… I thought. I glanced up and saw Eylon using her water as a force field around herself to shield her from the rocks also sent flying. The force from my fall caused blood to draw from my right hand. I didn’t care though because I was in a battle facing an opponent harder than any I had faced before. I wearily stood up and rushed at the figure again, but before I hit the force field, I drew my sword. Fire Delta Ray was the name of my sword. As I drew it out of its hilt, fire started to surround the sword. I whipped my sword against the force field, resulting in a cccrrrrrrrrraaaackkkkkkkkk!!!! The force field spilt in two. More dust filled the air as I stood there. I could see the figure very clearly now.
He was a tall, probably 16 year old boy with dark black hair and bangs over his eyes. He was dressed in black from head to toe with a black headband to match under his bangs. His sleeveless shirt showed the muscles in his arms. He was bad news, very bad news. He lifted his head in time to see me run at with my sword. I swung my sword down with all my might to only have him block it with his hand. That was all. My most powerful weapon blocked by his hand. No blood came from his hand either. At this point I could see into his eyes. I was shocked with terror. His eyes were a dark blood red; they also had that same bloodlust look I sometimes had, but his seemed stained in blood. A shiver of terror went down my spine.
“So… how are you, Sora?” He chuckled in a low, gravely voice. Those were the last words I heard before he threw my off and I blacked out.
