Okay, as some of you know, this part of the Fan-Fic takes up... about 2 and 1/2 pages (front and back) in my weird pink notebook. So All of this was pre-written by me during my long periods of boredom. Hope you enjoy this awkwardly long part 1 of the Fan-Fic!
~BEGIN PART 1~
Yeah! It was finally vacation! The bus was filled and I was sitting with Sakura once again. We already played violent pattycake, Miss Mary Mack, and a million other hand games. Kakashi (who was still driving) said we'd be there in about an hour.
"Still an hour?!?" I said. I was getting hot and sticky and my attention span was getting smaller and smaller.
"Apple Juice?" Sasuke looked up.
"Hnnnn.... what?"
"Wanna play a game?"
"Hnnnn.... sure... "
"Yay! Okay, um... what about... Oboshinatintaten?" (sp?)
"Uh... okay... sure... I guess..."
"Sakura? You wanna play too?"
Sakura turned to look at me. "Sure!"
"How bout you Hinata? You wanna play too?" I asked happily.
"O-okay!" Hinata agreed.
"Okay guys, here's how this works." I put my left hand over Sasuke's and my right hand under Sakura's. Everyone copied me. Even though it was difficult to do on a crowded bus.
"Okay, I'll sing." I said proudly.
We played 'Obo' like three times before Sakura complained of her hands hurting. I didn't lose at all, but Sasuke lost twice and Hinata lost once.
"Hnnnnn..... this game sucks." Sasuke said grumpily.
"Sasuke! This game is FUN!!! You just don't like it because you lost!" I said tauntingly.
"Kakashi!!!" I yelled to the front of the bus, "How much longer?!?!"
"Half an hour Kaoru." Kakashi said calmly.
My attention span no longer existed. I was now talking in long strings of words that no one could understand.
"ohmygodlookatthattreewhydoyoupickyournoseIlikepieIwannagoswimmingI'msobored!!!"
"Huh?" Takeya said confusedly.
"Iamsohyperwhyareyoulookingatmefunny?"
"Uh, I can't understand you."
"Really? Thatsweird, causeIknowexactlywhatI'msaying!"
Our conversation went on for the next 25 minutes like that, until Kakashi yelled, "5 MINUTES!"
"Yeah!" I started getting really jumpy. The excitement was overwhelming. I started quietly squealing out of excitement.
"Kaoru? Did you eat a teapot?" Naruto asked me jokingly.
"No I don't think so..." I replyed, pretending to think hard about whether I'd eaten a teapot or not.
We pulled up the gravel drive and everyone started cheering. The lake was breath-taking. I couldn't stop staring at it.
"Wow." I said gawking.
"Yeah. It's awesome." Naruto added.
Everyone shoved themselves off the bus and I raced everyone up the hill to the vacation home.
I pushed open the front door and smiled to myself. ~This is going to be one wicked sweet vacation.~
A piece of paper was taped to the wall, and I ran straight for it. Naruto, Hinata and Takeya came in and looked at the sheet too.
"Aw *CENSORED*!" I yelled. "We have to share rooms!"
"Aw, crap!" Naruto said, equally irritated as me. "Who are you sharing a room with?"
"Uh..." I scanned the sheet. "Uh... Apple Juice!" I smiled. ~Boy, this'll be fun!~ "Which room is mine?" I peered at the sheet again. "14."
I walked away down the hall and found room 14. I threw open the door, swung my backpack onto the top bunk, and fell onto the floor. I layed there on my back, staring at the ceiling, for a while, then I got up.
The room was painted white, the beds had white sheets, pillowcases etc., and the carpet was white. ~What is it with these people and the color white?~ I sighed.
I walked out of the room and back down the hall to the living room/chill spot. Instantly I spotted Naruto and poked him in the back of the head. "Hi!"
"Hey!" he said like he was annoyed.
"Let's go explore!" I grabbed his arm and we took off down the other hallway.
30 minutes later, we were exhausted.
"Holy crud, this house is huge!" I gasped.
"Agreed." Naruto said between breaths.
I immediatly thought of something.
"Let's go swimming!" I announced loudly throughout the Chill Spot. Unanimous 'yeah's' and 'yes's' echoed through the room. We all ran to our rooms and put on our swimsuits.
