Why must I cry the tears I cry?
Why must this feeling kill me inside?
Why must my past betray me so?
Why must you close your heart and tell me no?
Why must you turn your head aside?
Why must you bid my love good-bye?
Why must you promise that it will never end?
Why must you cause my broken heart to bend?
Why must I sink beneath Sorrows grip?
Why must I sheed this blood that shall drip?
Why must I continue to think of something that will never be?
Why must I continue to pretend that I'm just me?
Why must my life be such a livin' hell?
Why must you hold onto my freedoms bell?
Why must my heart say I love you still?
Why must you walk away only to kill?
