Darkness
All the same, it's a common word these days
Really can describe someone's inner pain
Kinda makes you think, if you have it or not
No one can really tell though
Easy to say you're pure and not mean it
Sometime you can really meet someone who is kind and cares, but
Sometimes you will meet someone who has too much darkness

Is it not true that we need to stand up for ourselves
So we will not be taken in by hate

I can't tell sometimes when I want to hate or want to forgive
Neither of them sound the best thing to do when you have been hurt

Although I have forgiven again and again
Lying here now I don't see why I keep getting hurt
Lies are the one thing that crushes my entire soul apart

Odd, I have to lie as well but it hurts to do so
Few of my friends want to give me this pain

Usually I don't think that they know what they are doing is hurtful
Somehow I believe there inner darkness got the best of them
