School again
School is in again.*sigh* And despite popular belief, that is a good thing for me...I am in college. And I have worked my a** of to get myself here. And I have waited a LONG time to get here. But, like all days I look forward to, it isn't exactly living up to my expectations. The ONE class I was looking forward to without hesitation was my photography 1 course. But like all photography courses, I was going to be expensive. Which, I could have afforded some, but not all. The only reason I took the class was because I already had a camera, and that was the bulk of the fees right there. But, alas, I found out today that my 500 dollar camera wasn't "exactly" what the professor was looking for. So now here I am waiting outside my advisors office, hoping she will appear sometime soon so that I can drop that God-forsaken class and pick up a class that will actually not cost me an arm, leg and quite possible several other appendages that I have become quite attached to over my 21 some odd years. On top of that major let-down. It is raining, and my new shoes are soaked through and through. Not to mention my jeans which are now wet nearly up to my knees...My unbrella is MIA and I am sacrificing the dryness of my shirt to save my my backpack which contains my beloved laptop. That is the summary of my day as of 11:33 am. Fun, huh? I do however still have 1 more class today, and have very high hope that it re-establishes my former enthusiasm for this semester. And if it doesn't kick in today, I do have two classes tomorrow that I am rather looking forward to. I will try to keep this journal up-to-date on how the rest of the day goes. Hopefully it won't be a complete and total bust and I will be able to survive the drive home in this piss pour rain. So, the is farewell for now...and I hope to see you again later today or tomorrow with renewed enthusiasm.
