Anime, Manga, Pocky, and Rambling - 11/10/04

*bounces about the room* My newest obsession has finally been released as a dvd!! Oh yeah, I don't think I mentioned that D.N.Angel has become my obsession, did I? lol I first started collecting the manga a few months ago and instantly feel in love with it. And now the first dvd has been released so I bought the collecters box... I also bought the 4th vol. of Suikoden III... As well as a box of giant pocky! XD The store clerk said he didn't understand the idea of resturant(sp) bread sticks covered in chocolate. lol My sister was surprised to see pocky that big. lol
Anyway, back to my rant about D.N.Angel... Personally I like the japanese voices better than the english ones... Kevin Corn as Daisuke's english voice isn't that bad... But personally Vic Mignogna doesn't really fit as Dark... Its not that bad after I listen to it for a while(*was watching/listening to the commentary*), but I personally like Ryotaro Okiayu as Dark more. lol And don't get me started on Satoshi... Greg Ayres just doesn't strike me as a good voice for Satoshi... He is practically perfect in his other roles but this one seemed a little out of character... Could just be my biased opinion since while reading the manga I imagin his voice to be different than that.
I think I should stop typing after midnight... Especially after I've had pocky... It makes me rant on and on and on about things...
That reminds me of something... My sister got a call today from her friend who was asking if she wanted to come to her birthday party this Saturday... Well, my sister's birthday just happens to be this saturday... So appearently she is going to go to her friend's until 5pm and then we are going to go to a greek restuarant(sp?) for dinner. Anyway, thats not the funny part.. I did mention that there was a funny part didn't I? Anyway, theres this something that I like to do when my sister is on the phone to other people... I like to meow into the phone... Just for the reaction the person on the other line gives... lol I meowed into the phone during my sister's conversation and her friend asked if that was her cat. *rolls around laughing* I can't quite remember what exactly my sister replied but it was along the lines of 'well, sort of...'. Heheheh, gets them every time. ;p It even fools our dad, he asks if the kitten(though she isn't really a kitten anymore) is out.. But every time its me.
Speaking of my kitten... A week or so ago she was limping and it got worse to were she wouldn't even walk on her paw anymore. But shes gotten better and hardly shows any signs that she was having problems before... She I must admit that she is quiet lighter when I pick her up than she was before. Though the one thing that tells me that shes near back to normal is that shes now gone back to her old mischief of when my dad opens my door to let her into the bathroom(my bedroom is between the livingroom and the bathroom) she likes to scramble into my room away from the bathroom door and hide between my bookcase, my tv(which is on a sidetable), and the wall. Shes also gone back to scratching on the bathroom door when she wants to come out and scratches on my door when she wants to go into the bathroom(or just into my room*grumble grumble*). That can be very very annoying at 5 am in the morning, wouldn't you agree? And if you try to ignore her scratching for quite a while she will start mewing. And I just can't ignore her mewing... For a siamese she is a very quiet cat.
*stares* Oh dear... I've really rambled tonight... I better stop now before I rant even more on a different subject...

Yay! Look at my journal! *starts plotting* Maybe I will post about the games I'm in... Maybe... Oh well, I'll think about that later on my next little post.
