Its christmas already and when I finally understood it... it was the day before advent... today.. or yesterday... (its an hour past midnight XD) and tomorrow we will be opening the packages fromunder the tree and all the jolly holly christmasness.... *yawns* still I dont really feel the christmas spirit... more like any other ordinary day... even though this chirstmas starts 13 days before advent and ends 13 days after.... and today was Þórláksdagur... when ya eat rotten fish... if it doesnt sting yar nose and make ya cry.. then its not rotten enough... it doesnt taste so bad.. not much to taste.. but the smell ... its all in the smell.. you can feel its affect just by breathing it into your lungs... ya just want to run outside so ya can breath normally... and then tomorrow Kjertasníkir comes to town.. or 'Candle begger' as ya would call him... the last of the 13 yule-lads that come to town ever christmas.. one by one... he steals candles.. and then is torn between watching the beautiful flame or to eat it to quiet the howls emananting from his stomach (they used to be made from fat.. but now they are wax ninja so I dont think he eats them anymore XD)
Then the nest thing after the advent we wait for new-years-eve... to blow up alot of rockets and stuff XD.. then 'the 13'nd' (13 days after advent) we can blow up more rockets.. the ones we couldnt blow on new years eve xd
and them we all go to bed... sleepy... *yawns*
