Brough food home, as a good son I cared enough to ask my Father if he wanted specific food.
He said "Suprise Me"
I brough home acceptable food, still really just acted happy antried to ask to pay me back for getting the food. I said no need, he said "thanks" nothing more.
I feel that he sounded less nice an just really patronizing to me.
