[ Edited for errors ]The stars burn out, millions an billions of years pass but does it really matter?
Time itself is *Almost* immortal, being that it will go on for so long that its passing ( The passing of time. ) will be meaningless. A day, a week, a month? ....A trillion years and it will continue till time grows so old it collapses into ever larger numbers to infinity.
Rock turns to dust as does practically everything an then decays back to molicules an atoms an to nothingness.
Stars waste away, black holes eventually loose mass through age ( Radtiation/ Degradation )
-----
The end of time supposedly is estimated at around 10x10x56 years everything by then will be traces of gas an molicules.
