Okay this is the major lesson all Christians know. It's about a major sacrifice God made for us :His son.
Jesus was born of the Virgin Mary. No we don't praise her that cathoilcs. There's a difference for you people that say there isn't. Anyway, Mry gave birth to Jesus. All his life he preached to those that listened and performed great miracles. Later on he was persecuted by those that hated Him and died on the cross. When this happened the Earth shook and the temple curtains tore. Many were sad but three days later Jesus rose from the dead proving he was God's son.
God made this sacrifice so we could join Him in heavan. We are sinful and unless we are perfect we cannot join Him. Jesus died for our sins so we could go to heavan instead of suffer in hell.
[for those of you that say it's a bad word it isn't. If it were a bad word it wouldn't be in the bible!]
There is still one thing we must do before we can join God and Jesus in heavan though. We have to accept Jesus into our hearts and accept that he died for our sins.
