Plot / Fantasy Adventure:
Welcome to a world of magic and adventure. The world of Arbortrea where all kinds of creatures work together. Many different species exist and for the most part all get along. This also means monsters and demons exist. Demons plague the world, carrying out the bidding of the Demon Lord Vincent. The demons use monsters to torment small villages in order to gain control slowly over the kingdom. So far, the demons have taken control of a kingdom in which the demon Lord resides. The remaining six kingdoms have called a ceasefire to try to work together to put a stop to the spread of evil.
Each kingdom has a guild system where adventurers can register their party so that quests and missions they take on earn them more rewards. It also gives them various advantages such as discounts and permission to rest in guild inns for free.
The kingdom of Romasia is a heavily diverse land. Many different species live here and the continent has many different environments. The royal family believes this is why they have seen so little demon attacks than the other kingdoms.
[Your character] is a bit low on money so they took a quest to aid the forest village of Riverwood. The village is located deep in the forest, but the reward was too hard to pass up. It seems the quest was posted ages ago, but adventurers don’t take it because the few adventures who did ended up different and jumpy when they returned, failing the quest. Your character is heading towards townhall to ask the chief about the recent “demon” sighting while reading over the quest. Can they put an end to its reign of terror or will they end up like their fellow adventurers?
"The quest states a demon spirit plagues the village and the forest surrounding the village. It apparently steals from the villagers and scares travelers and merchants from coming near as well as damaging the livestock and crops. It is said to live in a cave at the base of the mountain where the villagers have recently heard howling. The mission is to get rid of the demon and bring it to the Capital City, Romasia, Dead or Alive. The reward? 1,000,000 gold coins."
Plot / Isekai:
-Your character- was born on Earth and lives in modern times. One night while he is out taking care of errands, he [gets killed either by accident or saving someone / gets enveloped by a strange light or walks through a portal] and ends up face to face with a [reaper / angel / demon / god / ???]. They tell him that he is being sent to another world [for a second chance at life / to save the world]. Before he can ask questions or figure out what is going on, he is blinded by a bright light just before being transported into the sky above a large lake and falling into it, luckily. He emerges from the lake and finds he landed in the middle of a forest where -my character- has set up camp. He discovers a tattoo on his arm called a Rune Mark which he can use to activate a sort of UI/Menu display like a VR set up. Only he can see the UI and he is the only one who has it. It keeps track of people, maps, places, information, spells, and a lot more for him.
Plot / Fantasy Romance:
The battle between light and dark, good and evil, angels and demon… Has raged on for years. Each side equally matched and at this point most have forgotten the true reason they were fighting to begin with, now demons and angels just believe it’s for control. -Your character- is a new general of the [angel/demon] army who has been given his own team of troops to command. During one of the training regimens one of his trainees returns, reporting to have caught one of the enemy’s spies in the area and left them to die. Not wanting the spy to escape or die he decided to investigate and instead finds a young girl with both an angel and demon wing, trapped by a spear in her wing. She definitely does not look like a spy nor is it common to see a mix of two races currently at war. What should he do?
Plot / Fantasy Romance Adventure:
-Your Character- just joined the capitol’s adventurer guild in order to take on a quest to defeat a horde of demons that just took over a village and find adventurers to assist in his quest. He takes the quest from the bulletin board and walks into the tavern part of the guild hall and loudly asks if anyone would like to form a party and assist him on the quest. The packed tavern instantly went quiet with everyone looking from each other to him, no one offering to help him. When he felt all hope of finding help was lost a figure in the back of the tavern stood up. Dressed in dark robes and a cloak covering every part of them and a mask hiding their face; it was hard to tell what gender, race, species, or anything about them. Without a word they raised their hand, causing everyone in the tavern to begin frantically whispering to one another as the cloaked figure made their way over to him.
Plot / Post-Apocalyptic:
Humans have destroyed everything with their weapons. Thriving metropolises have been reduced to dust, and most magical beings have either went into hiding or are no longer on the planet. Most of the world went back to the old ways of non-electricity and medieval ways now ruled split into several kingdoms ruled by the humans, the elves, the dwarves, and the orcs.
One day while out in the woods -your character- falls into the remains of an old building, curious he explores the building using magic to light the way. He finds a room that is still running on electricity and with no clue how any of it works begins pressing buttons until a case opens with a girl inside still alive from being under. After accidentally releasing her he ends up in a race against time to stop the demons from rising once more.
Plot / Superheroes and Villains:
A several years ago an old oak tree was struck by lightning, miraculously it did not burn, but it did split open and when it did a purple gas seeped out and into the ground. Soon after ordinary people began gaining powers. It wasn’t long before superheroes and supervillains became a normal thing. Not everyone gained powers and scientist haven’t been able to find a link between those who have and studying the tree had given no results. So government officials decided to instead make a monument out of the tree and build a park around it honoring the gifts it gave.
Hero: -Your Character- decided to become a hero and use his powers for the greater good, though now with fewer villain crimes most of his days are spent patrolling the city and stopping simple crimes. One night while he was making his final round in Old Oak Park he spots a familiar sight, a villain who has eluded capture for months now by the Tree of Power. As he is about to apprehend the villain he notices a girl stuck in the tree. Conflicted between giving chase and saving the girl he decides to let the villain escape and help the girl out of the tree only to find the girl looks as though she doesn’t belong on his planet at all with wings and long pointed ears. And the power she can use is unlike anything he ever seen before. When waking the girl up however he unknowingly awakens a new threat which only she seems to be able to fight.
Villain: It had become a daily routine now to go out and commit petty crime. -Your Character- used to be a feared villain, well he still was, but now he’s laying low and taking jobs of theft, assassinations, etc. because he is trying to save up so that he can execute the perfect plan to bring the heroes down and be back on top for good. Well one night while in the middle of a rather grand B&E he discovers a portal. It wasn’t like any of the ones that he had seen before from the heroes or villains so he decided to check it out. Upon closer inspection however he could have sworn he saw a dragon on the other side, which was impossible, right? But soon after he got closer a girl rushes through, barely missing the flames. He had so many questions and really was quite annoyed at being interrupted during what should have been an easy job, and he begins contemplating just ending her then and there until she reveals her powers to him which could help him in the long run.
Plot / Futuristic Sci-Fi:
It’s the year 20XX and intergalactic space travel has been perfected. Many different planets have formed an alliance so that war does not spread across the galaxy. -Your Character- works as a [smuggler/cargo ship worker] and is currently helping transport an ancient looking container. The only instructions are to not open it and keep it safe. However [-your character- decides to peek in out of curiosity/the transport gets attacked] and the container is opened thus revealing a young girl inside. Almost immediately she wakes and doesn’t seem to be very friendly or familiar with any type of tech. The seal being broken sends a pulse throughout the galaxy causing many different beings to become interested in the cargo he was charged with transporting.
Plot / Fantasy Pirates:
Callum Winston was a wealthy man who lived in a small town upon the shore. He was rather young, only in his mid twenties, and helped the town thrive with his countless donations. He had a quaint house up the hill from town where he and the love of his life lived. She would volunteer at the taverns while he was away with the navy. Little did anyone know he was not a naval officer and he and his crew were none other than the feared pirates, Black Sails. They would pillage towns and attack ships that crossed their path which is how he gained such wealth.
-Your Character- the leader of the -insert ship name here- was a rival pirate who’s crew only stole from the rich to help the poor, like a sea-bound Robin Hood. Not able to match his fire power -your character- receives word that Black Sail has a lady hidden away in a small sea side town. With only her description he and a few crew members frequent the main tavern to see if they could find her. He did not wish to kidnap her, but if it came down to the only way to get her to come with them to stop Callum’s reign of terror….
Once the had Callum’s girl they set sail to meet up at the latest town he was attacking to show to her what he was doing. But when -your character- confronted Callum and gave him the ultimatum of disband his crew or let his lady die, he does something that was not accounted for and flees during the aftermath…
Plot / Fantasy Adventure / Modern Fantasy:
Fantasy Adventure: While searching through some ruins in the middle of the dessert in hopes of finding something worth selling -your character- discovers a small golden lamp. Ignoring the stories and legends of ‘genies and lamps’ he decides to clean it up a bit to see if it might be worth something. Upon doing so it releases a girl with golden shackles and dressed in garbs that most genies have been depicted wearing. After ‘thanking him’ for freeing her she tells him that she had been cursed and requires assistance in breaking the curse. What will he do?
Modern Fantasy(Same-ish plot just more modern setting): -Your character- enters an old spooky antiques and artifacts shop out of boredom or just a general interest. After tripping over a few boxes a small golden lamp falls onto him and it releases a girl with golden shackles and dressed in garbs that most genies have been depicted wearing. After ‘thanking him’ for freeing her she tells him that she had been cursed and requires assistance in breaking the curse. What will he do?
Plot / Ninjas:
In a world where ninjas, samurais, assassins, and many other ‘sellswords’ exist, magic is a rare occurrence. Many rely on actual power and strength and every town and village is divided into a clan of sorts. Most clans do not get along with others and a lot of time clans will ally with certain clans due to similar rivalry or dislike for a clan. -Your character- belongs to a well-known clan who are known for their strength, loyalty, and power. They are allied with many clans and are sort of like the leader for them. They despise one clan in particular, the Anima clan, a bunch of magic using ninjas who have animal like features (ears and tails). They often steal from others and kill for no reason, but because they have magic it has been hard to keep them down. One day while out in the forest -your character- stumbles across a girl with cat ears and a tail passed out and injured. Knowing she may be an enemy what will happen next?
