...where have I heard all of this before? Ah yes...every site re-design. And no doubt, we'll all hear it again when they change from this one. No one ever seems to enjoy change...until they all get used to it, that is. Proves how lazy the average person on the internet is. Oh no! I have to spend an extra 10 second finding the link that is in a similar place! My life is ruined!
Bah. Get over it.
As for the my personal opinions on the site redesign....
Gaia's always been "bright" to me, the new look overall doesn't bug me at all. I like the oranges that I'm seeing. Just in time for summer. I've always had to turn the brightness down on my monitor at night when looking at Gaia...so there's no real change here for me. Again, I like it. It's a nice change from every other damn site on the internet that is all BLACKBLACKBLACK!!!! Gaia is not Emo wink
The only things that really "bug" me about the redesign are the lack of dropdown rollovers on the main menu. Kinda annoying to click and then click again...but again, it's something I'll get used to and then get over.
I think the only thing that'll stick with bugging me is the new constant view of the avatar. It's smaller than it's supposed to be and it shows. My avatar looks all...ick. Pixels aren't where they are supposed to be *shakes fist!*
I wonder why they decided to try and squash the current images rather than just having the "bust" of your avatar or whatever in that space if they wanted something smaller.
Then again...who knows, with the new profile system that may get fixed as well. *shrugs*
Okay, enough on the profiles.
As for how I'm doing in real life...I'd say I'm pretty damn good. I'm on break now...finally getting a change to play the new Guild Wars as well as KH2 and such, though I'm checking on Gaia quite a bit so feel free to PM me now if you need something that I can help with. smile
And...that's pretty much that for now.
Oh...one last thing.
