So I joined Gaia eleven years ago, at the age of 17 with the request of a friend. I have been off and on sense but it always amazes me how it manages to change as well as remain the same. It has been three years since I visited before two before that before I played around here extensively as I have been since my latest return and a few things are obvious.
* I can no achieve amounts of gold I once only dreamed of in a matter of a day.
* This comes with the blindingly painful fact that in any community with the use of a currency there is the painful exposure to inflation, which seems to have taken the markets by storm, it is not just the old and hard to get items that are expensive these days, but even the most basic flowers sell for unreasonable amounts. Though this is pretty expected.
* The community has shifted a bit. Much of the people I had once known have gone on with their lives. As most of us are adults now so I am not surprised, though I have seen a few have poked on.
* RP remains healthy! Which I love, it was always my reasons for returning the Gaia, though the demand for off-site RP puts me off slightly.
* People do remain over all friendly so far. So I am over all pleased I came back.
All in all, this has been a fun return. And I believe I will be sticking, three years is to long to step away from something, it will take time to catch up!
