"MMMMMMMMMMMWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOO" The Beast roars as he descends from the outer trees surrounding the city and down onto the tops of the still standing building as he rushed in to attack Mr. Tolouse and just keep the pesky human from ever escaping again, by mashing him to bits.

Mr. Toulouse knowing he had no where to run as he was stuck in this section of the city surrounded by the fallen walls and mortar work of the building and rubble that tumbled as tried to climb out earlier to no avail.

"I have to stand my ground, I shall not fear him he would only be able to find me easier if he can smell my fear" as he braced himself to try and fight back even thought he was doubtful he would even land a blow let alone survive more than a moment, a breath......he noticed something strange.....the roar had stopped?????

He looked around and saw everything seemed to be moving incredibly slow! Everything the Beast moving downward from off the top of the nearest building in mid-air slowly dropping from above, the air shimmered as the heat from the day and the surrounding trees beat down, but he could see the heat in the air!

Something is slowing down time and causing everything to move so amazingly slowly that it was affecting everything, the whole environment even The Beast too...."But what is doing this?" ....and then immediately he thought about the ramifications of time being slowed down "I can escape, I can get away!" as he started off to move under and away from The Beast as he came down from the top of the dilapidated building he then again knew he must do something to stop this "If I dont stop him Ill just get stuck again a little further in the city and be even worse off than now!"

He went back in place and stood ready as all of a sudden time blinked and everything was faster for a moment as he let out a long breath getting ready to dodge The Beast if he could, as it bore down on him reaching out and lashing out with his long hairy arms and swinging his great fists like large mallets but as he neared striking him, Mr. Tolouse drew in his breath ready for the coming pain but it never came, time had slowed down so much it was almost not moving.

Trying to think logically about what he did before The Beast attacked and after....he came to realize he had take a deep breath and had inhaled once again before the it could hit him and time had been affected each time......"But why?....what is causing time to be slowed in the first place?" as he frantically tried to understand there was a glint of light and he saw another signet had been added to the other gifted by Aluminum ....the mark of Quicksilver ( Mercury ) "I see, Mercury was so fast and such an amazing fighter because he had the ability to manipulate time for a short time"

"But they dont have to breath, they are Golem-kin they dont have to eat or consume any thing to create energy...? How does he control his power then?" at that moment he realized as well as he noticed the signet grew very very hot the longer he was holding it at this extreme level of manipulation the hotter it was getting.

"Ah! Then that is the limit even his body cant take heat or temperature beyond a point without being damaged beyond his ability to fight!" as he looked up and moved forward

He begun to strike and the more he contacted The Beast the more furious his blows landed "This also must be a part of his power" he thought as he focused on holding the signet for as long as he could before it became to hot and he had to release it.
