So yeah as I was saying last time suddenly a new area showed up. Now I've gotten use to this and I'll explain why later...maybe...eventually? ANYWAY, along with this new area there is this strange little man thin guy always carries a bag. I go up to him to talk to him maybe find out about this place. Suddenly he's shoving eggs towards me and says, "Pick one."

I looked at him like he was nuts but...this had an oddly strange feel to it. I wonder if I did this before I came here. Oh well I looked at these eggs and they were pretty colors I asked him, "Is it Easter already?"

He just shook his head and said, "Pick one I'll explain after."

Now you know that is usually a sign you shouldn't trust the person, but here seems kind of normal. I shrug and looked down at the eggs. One had blue and white and a sea foam green color to it. It really reminded me of an Easter egg very prettily painted something I could never do. Another is kind of off purple and it looks like it has an eye staring at you. That one kind of creeped me out a bit. Another is mostly blue with some white and gold on it. The last is brown almost like the egg is made of wood with two little leaves growing out of it. Out of all of them I thought that last egg was kind of interesting so I picked that.

The guy shoves the egg into my hands and says, "You're now a proud master of a Kindred. They're small creatures that will battle for you. These woods are full of these strange creatures so do me a favor and take some notes on the different Kindreds you see. I'll be exploring too if I find anything I'll let you know."

With that he was gone. I stood there and blinked a few times, "Uh..." I looked down at the egg, "He...really didn't tell me much did he?" I looked at the egg and lifted it up slightly, "I wonder how long it takes to come out. Oh what if it is like a chicken egg and needs to be kept warm" I start freaking out this guy really did just leave me with a new creature and I could be killing it.

I think I might have run in circles at least once but just as I was about to run off to find a nest the egg wiggled and then hopped out of my hands. Before the egg hit the ground or I could catch it, it cracked and out popped this cute little kitten. At least...I think it's a kitten. It's small like a kitten but its tail is...well...it looks like a little leaf. It wiggles and the little creature looks up at me and mews. Huh...guess it is a kitten. It begins to rub against my leg. Okay...this isn't to bad. I kneel down and pet it and found it to be really soft and a sweet scent was released each time I pet it. I picked it up and smiled, "Oh you're a sweet little thing aren't you."

To say the least I was rather relieved when it wasn't going to munch my face. You have no idea how many things in this place want to munch your face. It curled up in my arms and went right to sleep. I decided to name it Willow. Well it has a leaf for a tail and it seems sweet but I have a feeling it could snap you like a willow switch.

So after that I headed into this new area with my new friend. For awhile there was no real trouble then suddenly out popped this frog...well not quite it had wings. *giggles* Yeah, reminds me of that saying too...I wonder where I know that saying from. About if a frog had wings it wouldn't bump its bum every time it took a flying leap. ANYWAY, yes I sidetrack myself a lot. So anyway Willow took care of that sucker in no time. After it came one frog after another. Then out came this orange frog. It nearly took out poor Willow, but she managed to take it out. So after that battle I found a place and we relaxed and took a nap together.

When I woke up there was I don't know what it was! I mean it looks like a blob but then it moved and there were EYES!!!! Yes, I screamed and pointed and told Willow to kill it. She did and pretty well I might add. At one point I walk up to the creature which I thought was dead! Apparently they don't die they just pass out or something. Cause I'm kneeling down poking it with a stick, yes a stick shut up, and noticed it was kind of teardrop shaped with these four little round bits of water which seemed to be legs. Oh and it's blue. I poke it and was investigating it now that I THOUGHT it was safe and suddenly that little sucker pops back to life! Yes, I for once screamed like a little girl and crawled back like that sucker was the new found bringer of the Apocalypse. Thankfully Willow killed it again.

This time something really weird happened. When Willow "killed" it again it laid there, I wasn't going near that sucker, and suddenly it glowed and a light swirled around it and suddenly that thing wasn't there anymore. In its place was this egg. I blink and crawled towards it, "Hey I recognize this egg!" It was that really pretty blue, white, and sea foam green Easter egg the man offered to me earlier. So this is what came out of that egg. Well I picked it up and not to long later I had a new little friend. I named him Dew Drop or Dew for short. At least the two seemed to get along so I was rather happy about that, but it was still kind of weird to see water move and have eyes. And that was the beginning of my time in this new area. I'll tell ya more about it later, right now something has decided it wants to try and eat you journal so I've gotta go.
