"I come from a world of ignorance, a world of pain, a world weary, a world dread.
I have a life of of sadness, of solitude, of confusion, a life for the lost, a life for the dead, alife without love.
I have a body stranded, a body that can't stand, full of wounds, full of blood, smoothered in scars.
I have the mind of the hopeless, a citadel of broken dreams, an entire world within, a place you can't believe."
This was written by a man who once lost it all, but in his mind was only left hope. Hope of leaving, hope tears for drying, hope so he could lie to the world and pretend to be glad, hope to be alone, hope for him to die. A man who was about to take his own life, to shoot himself and die.
That same day, on his way home, a lil' girl was passing by from the playground, and for no reason whatsoever, she just gave him a flower, smiled, and walked away. He was oblivious of what had happened and stayed all night thinking of the really odd situation and what it represented, and forgot about his death vow.
He woke up the day after with an epiphany: "If have lost it all, I can easily gain it all, I have nothing to lose" so he wrote this.
"I come from a world that can understand, a world of also happiness, a world that can help you gain strength, a world full of life instead.
I have a life fully alive, of guidence, a life which is whole, a life where love is enough.
I have a body that bears with much to give, a body that won't stop, a body covered with smiles, a body created by God.
I have the mind of a poet, a place glowing with dreams and goals, an entire world full of colors, a drive with my being, which is hope."
Now he lives happily growing flowers on a land he bought with the little money he had, all in memory of how that flower taht little girl gave him, that which represented the bit of hope he had lost. Now he has hopes of different colors and shapes to spare, and to give to the world so they can share.
If you know someone, which needs a bit hope; smile, hug them, kiss them, tell them that everythign will be alright. It may seem that this is just a lil' thing to us which are fine, but to them it seems like a sign back that there's still people who care, people like you and I who are willing to help them, who are willing to give them that bit of hope.
I created this fictional story to remind you of not how you are, but how the world is, and how much it needs of someone to share, someone for them who can share, for someone like you and I, for someone who cares.
